Mercury Retrograde: What to Expect in February

If you're open to the cosmic rhythm, there's a good chance you also see into hidden matrices behind appearances. Pisces Moon MLK Jr. said, "Everything that we see is a shadow cast by that which we do not see."
In Step Aside and Reverse the Flow, Zen Gardner writes, "The physical world we experience is proportionately way less in "size" than the tip of an iceberg. This fundamental reality of the hidden realms is where many get stumped. Without grasping the significance of the spiritual influences, the play we're witnessing will never make full sense and will remain to appear as only a two-dimensional chess game."
Zen Gardner writes of wierd vibes, and a barrage of negativity, to go along with the electromagnetic stew we're moving in/around. And that Mercury retrograde (in Pisces) is likely amplifying the effect. Pisces brings with it the danger of being pulled under and submerged, in what's swirling around.
From Earth-Heal: "Mercury Retrograde begins on February 6th at 3° Pisces. Now, a usual strategy for Mercury retrograde time is "go with the flow". However, this retrograde has extra potency to get lost at sea as Mercury retrograde begins near nebulous Neptune at 4° Pisces. The potential gift of this timing is to explore expansive possibilities."
There can be spiritual gain, and sensing influences and energy leaks, Zen writes of tracking what's "oppressing you." It's a time of perceiving the energetic authenticity of what's said and trusting impressions that pop up from the intuition. Neptune's undertow is made visible, and we see what was not seen before.
It can be a habit, like of just going with the latest meme-wave of outrage or "collective" trauma. I see that all around. Or it could be the mirror of social media, and how empty it feels, and draining. Zen writes, "How do we know what is what? The true universal reality that brings peace and understanding is our yardstick. When something only brings confusion, depression, disempowerment, and discouragement you know its source is not good."
So, in this Mercury retrograde (to Feb 28th) so far, there are stronger-than-usual currents that, if you're not paying attention, could pull you toward the low vibe sea. Each of us knows what makes us better swimmers -- able to follow that stream that's full of serendipity, empowerment and well-being. Lately, I've slept more, perhaps owing to Neptune at my ascendant -- dreams are vivid and some of them, disturbing. I'm sensing the need to keep it simple, without a lot of new input, since the inner realm is waterlogged with images and feelings.
This week, Mercury will retro out of water sign Pisces and into air sign Aquarius (February 12th). It might bring some surprising aerial views, on all that's going on. In the sign of the visionary (Aquarius), a vision could be re-covered, one that's vibing on a higher frequency.

For some reason, this made me feel a bit isolated: the idea of being/feeling submerged. This period of time will be interesting.

Perhaps because I'm a Pisces I'm more at home in all the cloudy currents and eddies of hidden events, I don't know. Only one major event has happened so far in this month but it had little to do with Mercury retrograde and more to do with transiting long-orbited planets in my case, I believe.

So far February has been very challenging and there were a lot of possibilities to get lost. Hope this challenging time is over soon.

Ceres and Our Inner Emotional Life

Ceres connections in synastry can reveal how one person accepts (or doesn’t) their partner’s nurturing. “Nurturing” is defined as caring for someone, and fostering their growth. Ceres (or Demeter) is named after the Goddess of the crops. She had a daughter (Persephone) and they were close. So close, in fact, that Ceres never wanted to let her go. Then Pluto (or Hades) kidnapped Persephone and dragged her off to the Underworld. Ceres’ grief was intense. In retaliation, she denied mankind their food by making the crops wither and die; she was hurting, so everyone else would as well. A deal was eventually struck with Pluto, and Persephone was allowed to spend part of the year above ground, with her mother. This was when Ceres allowed the crops to grow. When Persephone spent the rest of the year below ground, the crops were dormant. So Ceres’ cycle of growth and loss reflects the cycle of life. In your chart, her sickle-shaped glyph describes how you handle that cycle.Aspects to Cer

When You Should Get Your Birth Chart Done

Have you ever gotten your 'chart done'? In the field of astrology, a 'chart' is a representation that demonstrates the position of the planets, Sun and moon at a particular moment in time. The position of each planet, its movement and relationship with other celestial bodies can give an astrologer insight as to the influences in play at that particular time. There are 5 times in life when you should consider having a chart drawn up. When You Discover Astrology Once you discover the field of astrology, it’s a worthwhile investment to get a natal chart done. Everyone’s chart is unique because a full chart deals with not just your birth date, but the specific minute and location of your birth. Some people try to draw up their own natal charts using a website or book—and while this might give you an accurate plotting of the chart, only someone trained and experienced in astrology can truly interpret it. There is more to interpreting a chart than just reading a l

Essential Oils That are Harmful to Dogs.

On a Saturday night, a dog owner arrived home late and noticed that their dog was acting strange and did not recognize them. The owner initially thought that the dog was experiencing a night terror, but the odd behavior continued into Sunday. Upon realizing that a new diffuser had been running in the home, the owner turned it off, and the dog's condition improved on Sunday afternoon. However, the next day, the dog sitter reported that the animal was hiding under the bed and acting abnormally. The owner left work early to check on the dog and discovered that it was still disoriented and confused. The owner decided to take the dog to the emergency vet, where it was discovered that the tea tree oil used in the diffuser was toxic for dogs. Fortunately, the dog's liver was not damaged, but the animal required fluids to remove the toxins from its system. The vet and poison control specialists advised that they have seen an increase in similar cases as the use of essential oils grows
