As early as I could remember at age 3, I started having paranormal experiences. We lived on the north side of Chicago by the lake off of Granville and Sheridan Road. My father died when I was 5 years old. He had a cardiac arrest. He had a closed casket funeral and I did not see the suit he was wearing. Yet, in detail to my mother, I described seeing him and the colors of his suit and tie. She knew I had no exposure to this information. I learned at a very young age that my father would still continue to watch over me. I went to Catholic School for 12 years. My religious studies contradicted every paranormal event I have encountered. Chicago is haunted, especially many of the older buildings downtown and most places along Lake Michigan. 


 Some say that anywhere along flowing water is attractive to drawing in spiritual energy. When I was 17 years old, I went on a 6 week intuition quest where I learned the techniques in this book. I would not have been able to have navigated the difficult waters of life without allowing in thoughts and guidance. When we show an openness to receive and process thoughts, we can receive a sense of certainty to validate the path we are on. We can also determine when we feel out of alignment. We can then focus in on how to get back on track. If you can see pictures when you dream, if you have mental flashes of pictures and thoughts in your mind during the day, if you have noticed unexplained occurrences, or, if you have experienced an unusual coincidence, you can learn these simple techniques.

The Meaning of Nakshatras in Vedic Astrology

Unique to Vedic astrology, the Nakshatras, or lunar constellations, are directly connected to the Moon and her myriad of expressions. The Moon changes signs (houses) roughly every 2.3 days, taking 28 days to move through the twelve signs of the zodiac. This gives two weeks for a waxing (bright half) Moon and two weeks for a waning (dark half) Moon.  The Moon is connected to our intuition, intelligence and the nature of the mind and emotions. Mercury goes retrograde February 6 2014 and the traditional advice is  “Don’t travel, Don’t sign contracts. Don’t marry.
